Gender Diversity  Based in Seattle, WA. Organization with lots of resources, an annual conference, and support groups.

Gender Spectrum Based in Oakland, CA, Gender Spectrum holds an annual conference, hosts an online lounge where families, teens, and providers can connect. They also conduct trainings for schools and have many resources about gender on their website.

SMYAL (DC)  Organization that supports LGBTQ Youth in Washington, DC.

Trans Active Gender Center  Portland, Oregon. Lots of online resources and info. Support groups for kids, teens, parents and allies.

Trans Youth Family Allies (TYFA) One of the first organizations founded to help trans youth, by two moms of trans teens, TYFA’s website has lots of resources, news articles, and advice for parents and families.

Trans Youth Equality Foundation (TYEF) Portland, Maine. TYEF “provides education, advocacy and support for transgender and gender non-conforming children and youth and their families.” They also organized a weekend summer retreat for kids.

Trans Student Education Resource (TSER) Founded by Eli Erlick and Alex Sennello, this is an activist, youth-led organization working to provide youth resources and support in navigating educational environments. Lots of resources, including an extensive summer camp list, conference list, and information on scholarships.

PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gays) (In recent years many PFLAG chapters have started support groups for families of trangender kids as well.)
